My cousin-in-law, Shannon, commissioned three stockings to match the ones made by her late grandmother. I will be knitting two of three as my sister is making the other. This one is for Shannon’s sweet 3-year-old, Anna. :)

It is quite entertaining to follow a vintage pattern whilst simultaneously attempting to duplicate a stocking knit years (and years!) ago. The original knitter took a few…liberties…with the pattern, which makes it all the more difficult. I definitely botched up the number of rows before the tree begins, but I suppose that’s what I get when the stocking I’m replicating is almost 1500 miles away.
