So, basically, I saw the concept art on Mugglenet and decided that I need to make one.

23rd August- Finished the first leg and wasn’t sure if it was what I wanted. Once I stuffed it, it looked MUCH better and was able to be shaped and curved like it is in the concept art. I put lots and lots of plastic pellets in to make it weighty, as well as nice and floppy once it’s sewn onto the body.

4th March- Pulling this back out to work on it. I’m on a crochet kick! The yarn is a bit scratchy; I’ve noticed the Galway heathers are rougher than the solids. If I work on it for a while, I get a “dent” in my finger from tensioning and it hurts from the roughness of the yarn.

30th May- Got a new Addi Swing ergonomic crochet hook. LOVE! I have all 4 legs finished and I’m working on the body.

31st May- Body is finished. I’m unsure of it. I think I’ll wait and look at it tomorrow. It’s not quite right…

1st June- The body looks brilliant, much better with limbs and facial details.

16th June- He’s waiting on wings right now.

12th November- DONE!
