I don’t like acrylic, it has to be said. However, Johnny lives in South Carolina and it’s not very cold there. Acrylic will be easy-peasey to wash and might be a bit cooler than wool.

Thoughts on the pattern
Well written, definitely worth the money. I think next time I would begin with a provisional cast on so that picking up the stitches for the neckline would be easier. Other than that, I’m very pleased!

Mods

• Worked one additional row on the neckline/edging/buttonbands so that I could bind off on the wrong side, which is my personal preference.
• Omitted all sleeve decreases and instead picked up two extra stitches at the underarm. I don’t want the sleeves too small, this way he’ll be able to wear it longer.
