A knit-a-long with my sister TheDoctorsPlusOne! She wasn’t happy with what she was knitting so we spontaneously cast on Manus instead.

Working on this while we move house yet again…

Things I completely adore about this cardigan: tiny little buttons! I-cord buttonholes! Neat garter edgings! Lots of pleats! Snug cuffs that I can pull over my hands! All the i-cord ‘round the edges!

Mods

• for once, I’ve shortened the body to 15” as I’m close on yardage and want to lengthen the sleeves

• lengthened sleeves to 19.5”

• mirrored pleats

• omitted pockets- no particular reason, I just really like the way it looks without them

Tips/Notes for future reference

• knit last round of cuff very loosely to make room for increases

• bind off cuffs loosely!!

• 3 stitches between buttonholes
