Though I started out with this being a collaborative project with my mum and little sister, it’s turned into just me. Not that I really mind, as this means I get to keep the finished quilt all to myself. :)

I can’t imagine this will ever be “done.” I love knitting puffs and I don’t think I’ll be able to simply give it up . They are too much fun!

For me, 197 hexis = roughly 2’x3’ = 6 square feet

I’ve made a couple mods to my puffs:

• I use Judy’s Magic Cast On, but right before starting I flip it upside down. That makes a cute little purl ridge at the bottom of each puff.

• wool roving for stuffing.

When I left for college, the blanket went into storage. It stayed there far longer than I anticipated! So now, 7 years later, I’m back again and determined to put some work into this blanket. 272 puffs is a LOT but I have a feeling I still have a few hundred to go.
