My dad is such a ham for the camera!

This yarn is so buttery smooth! Much softer than the Malabrigo Rios I used to knit Dad’s other hat.

I made several modifications so that the hat would be thick and warm enough.

Mods

  • Knit ribbing on 5mm needles for 5 inches
  • Went down to 4mm needles for the body of the hat
  • Increased to 120 stitches to make up for the gauge change
  • Started the decreases after 4 inches of the body, with 30 stitches between each marker
