Absolutely giddy over the finished sweater! I love the fit, the yarn, and the colours. I can already see this will be a cardigan I will wear very, very often. Without a doubt, this is my favourite thing that I have ever knit. :)

Mods

• Added one extra repeat of green peeries for length before beginning the armhole steeks.
• picked up 10 extra sts for buttonbands to account for added length
• longer and snugger sleeves: Decrease 2 sts every round until 65 stitches remain, now knit 4 plain rounds, decrease 2 sts, knit 8 plain rounds, decrease 2 sts, knit 8 plain rounds, decrease 2 sts, knit 90 plain rounds, decrease 2 sts, 16 plain rounds, decrease 2 sts, 12 plain rounds. Work cuff pattern over 55 stitches for 28 rounds.

Tips

• loosely bind-off the buttonband edges so that they can stretch during blocking
• securing the steek edges with the MC before blocking is crucial and makes everything lie quite flat
• carefully pin the ribbon to the buttonbands before sewing
