Notes

Will try to make it with knitting machine. My knitting machine can’t handle thicker than sportweight.

If I could change one thing from what I did, I would do all the numbers with one colour or at least choose a colour that’s almost the same with the other contrast colour.

One day for knitting the actual pattern with knitting machine. Length now 238 cm and 65 decimals after 3. I have three skeins of main colour for this part. I haven’t even used the first.

Before 100 decimals, one can do all the numbers without charts. 106 decimals done and still something left on the first main colour skein.

First main colour skein 1208 rows.

Length 7.5 meters and 2132 rows. Second skein looks like it will run out within the next 100 or so rows. Decimals are going somewhere around 250.

I have sewn first full round. I fear I might have to order one more skein of main colour. No fear of running out of contrast colours. One round took 61 decimals. That means my 249 finished decimals get me four rounds. My second main colour skein is near its end. I have one more skein to use after that, but I’m not sure how far can that take me.

One sleeve has fibonacci sequence and the other prime numbers.

The big question is what did my Heavy metal skein weigh before starting? I have 156g leftovers. My scale was out of batteries when I started. Usually I do weigh my skeins before starting. Especially when using Wollmeise.
