This BamHuey Handspun yarn is a 2ply fingering weight. I have started and frogged this poor thing 3 times, the pattern is great, I just keep doing stupid things… I restarted for the last time on Jan 1, 2010 so it can qualify for 10 shawls in 2010. It has been sitting waiting for its’ time to be worked on from about Jan 6th, so that qualifies it for WIP for Ravelympics! I have pics from all the starts and rip outs.

4/2/10… Blocked and dry at last!. I did not do the finish edge of the pattern. This shawl is for me and I wanted something real snuggly, so I used 100 % handspun angora and added a simple moss stitch collar rather than the lacy edge.

3/4/10…Have switched over to my new 20” long BLACKTHORN needles! and this baby is moving along at high speed. The bamboo needles were just to sticky for cramming sooo many stitch on the 13” needles. Now I need to make a bigger light box so I can fit these needles in to get better color on my pics!
