Notes

A modular crescent with some beautiful Gannet Designs lace.

Using a most beautiful TFA skein, Zen colourway in Muse.

70g remaining when starting lace (8 repeats of body pattern)
53 end 1st repeat
(36 end r12)
33 end 2nd repeat
31 end R2

27g end R5
24 end r7
18 end r10
15g end r13 (worked extra incs in inc column)
9g rem after BO (6g)

Used 99g total, slightly less than a full ‘medium’ size skein.

Please note I cheated and only beaded a widening section in the middle of the shawl. To bead all repeats as per pattern, assuming starting lace when I did would require jut under 200 beads.
1st repeat used - 17g. Beaded central repeat only. (3)
2nd repeat - 20g. Beaded 3 central repeats. (9)
3rd rep + BO - 25. Beaded 5 central repeats. (15, 27 total)

Started with 3.5’s, and moved up to 4mm needles for last 8 rows to use more of skein. Alternatively could have started a 4th repeat, or worked an extra repeat of the body chart instead.

The name is a quote from Mary Wortley Montagu.
