Made in 4ply yarn on 2.5mm hook.
(1.5mm hook used for smaller size)

The pattern is brilliant and will really guide you through!! By far the cutest crochet dragon pattern I’ve found.

I omitted the wire, instead choosing to work at a tight gauge making a stiffer fabric. I also worked tight whip stitching down the spine of each wing and around their edges, which made them pretty robust.

I really struggled with the claws, perhaps due to the tiny hook, so I worked them just in the main colour and then stitched sewed claws on in white. This worked well for me.
I made the feet pads as rounds instead.
I stitched the fangs instead of making them for felt.
I plan to make the eyes from felt but haven’t done it yet.

Total yarn used is well under 100g of 4ply.

I loved the pattern and would make it again!
