Em liked the look of Raindrops by Tincanknits so I plan to a yoke with eyelets in a similar style. She said it needs to fit over her head easily without hurting her ears (what is it about shop bought jumpers that makes the necks so tight!).
Her head is 19”.

Gauge on 4.5mm with the skinny end of the yarn (this end will work well for the lace at the top I think), is 6sts/inch.
Working top down, CO 96sts (6sts/inch x 16”) (120 was too big)
Work in st st for 5rows for a rolled edge.
3rows of 2x2rib to stop further rolling.
2rows knit, then start the eyelets.

Inc to 180sts over the 5” of the yoke.

Sleeves 12.5”
Body (long) 15”
