Scarf knit sideways, similar shape to Baktus, but with a different rate of increase and in bands of st st and rev st st instead of garter.

CO 3sts.
3rows of st st followed by 3rows of rev st st. (6 row repeat, with increase at start of row1)
Repeat until half the yarn is used, then decrease til 3sts.

I cast on both ends and knit a repeat on each until nearly none was left, because my handspun was thicker at one end than the other and I wanted to use it all. Grafted 2 pieces together. Only 8inches of yarn left.
