Knitted in DK on 4mm needles gauge roughly 20-21sts/4”

Loosely based on the charts for the second size to obtain size for 5-7yrs.
Cast on 64sts for the front and back. No waste shaping.

Raglan and neck adjusted for child head size, with short rows to produce a lower rounded neck at the front.

Slight adjustment to taper for sleeve shaping to keep child proportions.

1 star on each arm, the rest omitted to save time.

Care must be taken when knitting the chest emblem to avoid puckering.
I used intarsia and to avoid any stranding or using many balls decided to add the single curved rows of red stitches on after in duplicate stitch. This really speeded up the knitting and gave a very neat finish.
Knitted and finished in 3days!
