I can’t knit that well, but I really love the Phoenix-Wing pattern. Especially the black combined with color-changing bright color versions. Like this one. <3

So I had this vision, and this will either be the best or worst crochet idea I ever had… Why not freestyle crochet a butterfly wing-inspired design with Fenna and black yarn?
Again, this could either be completely awesome or completely awful. We will see ;)

Update: still on the fence about this one. It’s colorful, I’ll give it that ^^

Update 2: it is done. Still don’t know how I feel about it. I could have gone on longer to add more segments, but just wanted to get it done. I still don’t know what I was thinking exactly and the end result certainly isn’t to my taste. I’ve given it to my mother and she can see what she wants to do with it ^^
