I don’t follow the pattern precisely, use it only as an inspiration.
09.10.2014:
Gauge:
24 sts & 40 rounds = 10 cm in stockinette stitch after washing.
27 sts & 40 rounds = 11.5 * 10 cm in lace pattern after washing.
Provisional cast on 130 sts (back - 44 sts, sleeves - 15 sts each, front - 56 sts).
10.10.2014:
Anatomical raglan, same idea as in this sweater. I’ve blogged description of this method of raglan construction here. It’s in russian, but with many drawings.
20 shortened rows at the beginning of the yoke on 3.5 mm needles. After that back and front are 64 sts each, sleeves are 25 sts each.
Switched to 4 mm needles.
13.10.2014:
The yoke is completed (88 rows total, including shortened rows at the beginning). Back and front are 100 sts each, sleeves are 67 sts each. Divided yoke stitches for body and sleeves, adding 11 stitches at each underarm.
21.10.13:
Finished the body. Hem: 4 rounds of double knitting (2.5 mm needles), 7 rounds of twisted ribbing (4 mm needles), 4 rounds of double knitting, tubular cast off (2.5 mm needles). Neckline: undid provisional cast on, 6 rounds of double knitting; italian bind off (2.5 mm needles).
23.10.13:
Picked up stitches for the left sleeve (67+12+2=81 sts) using this method of preventing holes at the underarms.
26.10.13:
Decreased 2 sts every 10th round 10 times and 1 st in 10th round 1 time (81-20-1=60 sts). The left sleeve is complete.
