Twisted German Cast On

Smooth Join in the round

Gauge:

22 sts = 6 cm (st st)
23 rounds = 5 cm (st st)

70 sts

22 rows of ribbing, 27 rows of st st.

One heel-instep decrease less than in the pattern.

28 rows of st st

Two sts more than in the pattern after the foot decreases.

Finished the sock with the Kitchener stitch.

This is test knit of Hi Socks by Assia Brill. The pattern is one of the most thorough, well written ones I’ve ever seen. It is suitable for any size and for any instep. The fit is perfect.
