This shawl pattern could not be simpler, what a treat to knit.

This version is knit with a double strand of alpaca lace weight yarn in two colours--grey and natural. I used a 3.25 mm circular needle for the body of the shawl and switched to a size 4.5 mm needle for the border.

Rather than formal blocking, I gave the whole thing a quick press with the steam iron and it came out great.
