I love the versatile design of this ponchini. I couldn’t believe the compliments I got while wearing it. It stays on and looks great no matter which way it’s worn. It keeps my elbows warm in the cold a/c at work.

Nice pattern! Once I learned how to count to ten, things went smoother, LOL. Went quickly and was very easy to maintain the proper gauge. Finished after doing 8 repeats per the pattern for a medium size.

I’m not thrilled with the amount of gold in the yarn. One skein was golder than the other two. Also, I found two knots in one skein. Annoying. But the fabric, once knitted is very drape-y and nice.

Notes:
Making this as simply as possible to get used to the construction and use up some Madtosh DK. So, no mohair for now (makes ripping out stitches easier) and I’m using my 32” Addi SOS lifeline cable cuz it will save aggravation in the long run.
