Sooo, this morning I bought yarn (10/31). I am a little embarrassed to admit that with all the pink yarn I own, I did NOT have the RIGHT pink for this stocking…even now, I settled for a worsted weight to get the right color…don’t yet know if I will knit double stranded or simply increase the stitch count and decrease the needle size.

11.06.11 - cast on two days ago, now nearly done with the knitting. I am looking forward to the embellishment!

11.07.11 - finished the swirls this morning before work. No name yet…not sure how I’m going to do that…I have some letter beads that might be fun…or just regular embroidery…“Peanut” is too long to duplicate stitch on the top…pictures soon (I hope)!

Notes, just for me…
Knit with double strand throughout.
Cast on 64, join and knit 1 rnd. Bind off 22, knit three more rnds in pink. 11 white, 43 pink.
Heel on 22 for 11 rows in white and turn heel, pick up 7 on flap sides in pink on row 1, 20 rnds total pink, including gusset.
Toe in white, decrease to 8+8, graft.
