She clearly needs more tops, so I’ve grabbed this bright ball of yarn, and I am simply going to town! I made the first, bottom up, according to the instructions, except for knitting in the round. This was really fiddle-y at the top, for the sleeves, so I made another one.

The second was worked top-down, flat to start, beginning in the round knitting at the base of the v-neck. I also played with the body of the top, making it a little big-t-shirt-y, and more playful. I mostly like how it turned out, but I am learning that I really need to make ALL BARBIE TOPS LONGER!!! Still, this one goes over her head easier than the first at the neck opening…not sure if I made it bigger or if my cast on is simply stretchier than my bind off.

I may make more of these, because I really like the v-neck…but there are just so many patterns out there! lol! And I know…they’re all just copies, and outfits put together, but still…so many!!!
