Sooo, I have this yarn, and I have had it for some time. It’s July, but I need a little Christmas, right this very minute…!

And FINISHED! I finished in August, but the bulk of the knitting was Christmas in July, and so I call this a win! Oh, and I love the socks! Win, Win!!!

As I was knitting, I realized that some of the stripes will be patterned. I made the choice to only do the mini cable patterning on the cuff of these socks. The yarn, while not easy to photograph with my phone in imperfect light, is beautiful! It just SCREAMS Christmas, so there you have it. Plain stockinette, after 21 rows of rib with a twist on rows 5, 9, 13 and 17.

Sock leg knit to a total of 72 rows, including the 21 rib rows…Heel flap EOP over 32 sts, for 32 rows before turning heel. Knit foot to 72 rows, decrease toe to 8+8.
