Sooo, I am a Gramma. The baby will be about a month-and-a-half old when Easter arrives…still, she needs a basket, right?!?

Now she has one! It’s a simple basket-weave, worked tighter than the yarn calls for to give it stand-up body (yarn calls for 9mm hook/ndl, I used 5.5mm)…there is no pattern…sorry. One day, one day I hope to write up the things I find in my head…sigh!

After I made the basket, there was yarn leftover…why not a little bunny? (S)He is knit on 6.5mm dpns, again no pattern. I am not totally pleased with him/her…but it’s a little bunny, baby-safe.

Oh, and what’s an Easter basket without grass? I can’t give that plastic stuff to a little kid…what about FUN FUR?!? Yep, two skeins, knit into a ruffly circle, and stuffed in…take pictures, and then I can sleep until Easter.

Wait! I gotta get candy for that basket!!!
