I’ve knit half a dozen bunnies, and I think I am ready to move on…so here I come, Miss Elephant! I’ve got a bad case of lovin’ toys, and no pill’s gonna cure this elephant-itis until I knit one (or more), of course!

This is written for DK and sport…I am knitting her in worsted and DK, because that’s what I have on hand. I’m hoping the needle sizes I’ve chosen will work well, I think they will. :)

I decided to knit the pieces flat and seam them, as written, so no real mods to speak of. Let’s go!

One note, for those of you who may wonder: knitting the elephant on 5s with worsted, and the clothes on 4s with DK, was perfect for me!

I had earlier wondered if the clothes for these would fit the other bunnies. I don’t think so…but this dress gives me ideas for the other. :) Also, this pattern produces a better animal, IMO. I’ll be making more of these!

FWIW, on a heavy-knitting weekend, I started the doll Friday nigt, finished the knitting on Saturday night, then sewed up the dress on Sunday, after blocking. :) On a normal-knitting weekend, it might have taken longer to knit this up…
