This is the same yarn as my back socks…it’s the colors of froot loops! Here’s what I got for a pattern (the kid wears a size 5 baby shoe):

Cast on 40.
K2, P2 8 rounds.
Rnd 9: Knit.
Rnd 10: K2, P2
Repeat rounds 9 & 10 until you have reached 36 rounds total.
Work eye of partridge heel over 20 sts for 20 rows, turn heel. Pick up 11 sts each side for gussett, and continue pattern from rounds 9 & 10 on instep, while knitting in stockinette stitch on the sole. Knit a total of 40 rounds on the foot, including the pick up round and the gussett decrease rounds.
Work toe to 8+8 sts, graft closed.
