Notes

I thought the first yarn I picked was a self-striper, but it was not. Neither was the second…so I striped them together randomly, but not too randomly…lol!

I have to say that this guy is turning out to be quite handsome…

If (when?) I knit this again, I will make two mods:

  1. I will work incs that lean toward each other (the way this is written, the “seams” don’t look very neat).
  2. I will work the head shaping so that it is more centered on one of the increase seams. As written, it just seems that everything about the body is a little “off-kilter.” Of course, this is a bug-eyed bunny…and that, in itself, is a little off-kilter, now isn’t it?!? lol!

I’m not sure of the yardage on this, but I’d say I used 20-25 grams of sock yarn. Soooo cute! His tail is some fluffy yarn I found in my stash (with no ball-band, of course), and I just crocheted a little ball and stuffed it with the “tail” of the fluffy yarn, then sewed it on with sock yarn matching the bun-bun! Features were stitched on with scraps of the same yarns used in the bunny as well…it had pretty good colors for that. :)
