Just before the toe, I decided to try the sock on…just to be sure the foot was long enough. Could.NOT.Get.It.On. :( Frogged. Oh, well. I’ll have to do something different.

I need more Christmas socks. I currently have 5 pair, including the jollyville socks I finished in December (2015), but my candy cane socks need darning (which I may or may not do)…but the optimum number I’d like is 8 pair. That’s one for every day of the week, plus a pair to wear on wash day (when 7 pair are hung to dry). If I lose the candy canes, that means I need 4 more pair…I have yarn for 2 or 3 pair in my stash, and there’s no time like the present, so I’ve cast on! Yay!

Notes/Mods:
The stitch pattern is a 15st rep x4. I am adding an additional knit stitch at the end of each repeat so I can knit this as a 64st sock

Cast on 64, 2x2 rib for 16 rounds.
Add 1 knit stitch to each repeat to add in the additional 4 stitches I need for my standarsd 64 stitch sock. :)
Work pattern for 52 rounds* (color change), the work flap heel on 32.
Work foot to 68 rounds before toe decreases.
