I love this pattern, and it turned out soooo cute! I added a touch of the sleeve lace to the bottom of the sweater, per another friend who had done the same (hey, Michelle!). It would have been just as cute with the garter hem, and for an older kid, I would probably do that, as written. For the baby, I love the lace! (See the pretty picture?)

I had planned to knit the whole sweater on the way to see the Peanut, but then the weather was rough, and I did not even come close to finishing. I thought I would knit during the visit, but then there was a Peanut to play with and cuddle. Soooo, I ended up finishing this top in the car, on the way home - hence the dashboard picture! I am gonna block it and mail it off as soon as it is dry…
