I love this sweater, and I am knitting it in wool that I dyed on my own stove! Summer has been hot, hot, hot, so I look forward to wearing this in Sep/Oct, when the weather starts to turn (hopefully!).

Mods -
In my size, the pattern would dictate approx. 5 reps of the lace before the waist (9”). I have extra yardage of this yarn, so I did 7 repeats of the lace, to add some length.

I decided to only create 3 buttonholes. I think I like it…will know for sure when I choose buttons!

07.30.10 - I started with the sleeves, (like I do with most in-the-round, bottom-up raglans) because there is less to rip out if my gauge is not spot-on! So far, I have two sleeves complete and set aside until it’s time to attach to body, which I will start working on this weekend!

09.06.10 - The sleeves were added to the body on 09.04, and I am plugging along with the neck and raglan decreases…each skein of yarn is slightly different, but I think they are all playing together nicely! :)
