Wow! These are totally addictive, and I have knit quite a few. I know that I will burn out eventually…wanna take bets as to when? lol! For now, I’m making good progress!

First burn out came in Sep. 2013, after the broken fingers (I had a total of 129 when I stopped knitting the puffs). I started knitting them again on Christmas 2013, and had 10 more before the end of the year…lol!

Sooo, I’m calling this one DONE! I have 233 puffs stitched together, and I worked a border of sc, chain 3, with hdc stitches at the corners, two full rounds with D hook, then finish off. And, as you’ll see in the photos, great size for lap blanket or kids’ blanket. Sooooo warm and cozy!

Picked this up again, in earnest, January 2017…after 32 months of “Zzzzz…” Bwaaahahahahaha! But, I’m cooking now, with 206 puffs finished, as of 1/5/17.

So much sleeping for this project. I have had 232 puffs for almost two years, so it is probably safe to say that I am done making puffs. I started crocheting them together today, and I am doing my best to go for random placement…

Using random, laceweight to crochet together with a sc, ch 3 pattern, interlocking the ch 3 spaces.
