Modified this turtle pattern to make a Lady Bug!!! I made 6 legs, attached as tail for turtle. Knitted I-cord for antenna 14 rounds tie knot in top. Made 9 spots (because it’s Gwennie’s 9th birthday).

Legs:

1. Magic circle 4 sc = 4 sts
2. Inc, 1 sc, inc, 1 sc = 6 sts
3. 1 sc, inc, 1 sc, inc, 1 sc, inc = 9 sts
4. Sc around = 9 sts
5. Sc around = 9 sts
6. Sc around = 9 sts
7. Sc around = 9 sts
8. Sc around = 9 sts Finish off

Round 1 of stomach: 4 sc; chain 3, skip 3 sts, 8 sc, chain 3, skip 3 sts, 8 sc, chain 3, skip 3 sts, 17 sc, chain 3, skip 3 sts, 8sc, chain 3, skip 3 sts, 8 sc, chain 3, skip 3 sts, 13 sc.

Spots: magic circle 7 sc fasten off. Sew on back of lady bug.
