General notes
I’m impressed with the simplicity of the pattern instructions and how well-written it is. This is my first Petite Knit project but it definitely won’t be the last.

I appreciate how concise and to the point it is. I’ve seen complaints about the lack of schematics but it didn’t bother me as the numbers are there and I can do maths if I need to.

I didn’t make any changes since the cardigan isn’t for me and I think it’ll fit her as is.

ETA: it does fit her perfectly! In fact, I wondered if the neck might be too high after seeing some Vs that didn’t seem deep enough, but it looks great.

Got gauge on the first try!

I finished the first yoke section tonight and started on the next. Really enjoying the construction so far and it looks great.

Separated body and sleeves. These 2 yarns are making such a gorgeous fabric and the colour is so rich and lovely. I might need to make another one for myself as well…

Finished the body.

Needles breakdown: 4mm for body, 3.5mm for ribbing, 4.5mm for sleeves and 3mm for button band

Finished a sleeve. Ribbed for 18 rounds before setting up for tubular bind off. I think I might run out of mohair.

But it made sense to order enough of everything again to make me one soon.

Finally finished it today. The tubular cast off took absolutely ages to do along the neckline. I was at our all evening tonight. Also, I only needed 2 grams, 2 BLOODY GRAMS of the mohair in order to finish. That was it. Oh well, never mind. At least I’ll get a cardigan for myself now as well…
