Knitted it exactly to pattern as it was a test but wouldn’t have changed anything anyway.

For reference I’m 159cm/5’6” tall. My cardigan is 110.5cm/43.5” around and my bust is 85cm/33.5” giving me 25.5cm/10” of ease, just as suggested by the pattern.

I don’t think I can stress enough how much I love this cardigan. Absolutely brilliant design and pattern, even though it was still in the testing phase.

Got gauge on 3.5mm needles. Let’s go!

I’ll use 3mm for ribbing rather than 3.25mm as I’d rather have that tighter.

Finished the body! Tubular bind off is gorgeous but on 200+ stitches it is labour intensive… It took me almost an hour and a half!

Button band is up next and I’m very excited. It’s my first time working a double knitted one.

Really enjoying this one. So many lovely details!

Finished knitting last night. Absolutely loved working on this.

I’ve just set it up to block and the measurements are EXACTLY in line with the schematic for my size. The only difference is that my cuff ribbing is about an inch narrower than the pattern but it doesn’t really matter as that bit stretches.

I really loved working with this yarn as well. It’s quite sticky and toothy while you’re knitting it but it’s come out SO NICE AND SOFT after blocking! Super impressed with it.
