My buddy Carole informed me yesterday that Chris Hardwick--fellow Whovian and man I’ve had a crush on since I was 10--will be in Chicago in March and that if I wanted to make him something, she would do her best to get it to him. So, I take out a skien of my Time Traveler yarn and start making a dalek. Being that I’m addicted to Twitter, I tweeted that I was making the dalek. I got a direct message from Chris himself saying that he approved and to let him know when I was done :D I’ve been on a high ever since.

The dalek is named Brigadier in honor of Nicholas Courtney, who played Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart on Doctor Who and passed away on 2/22/11
