This is the first time I’ve ever done an I-cord cast on. It was slow going, but I like the end result.

Had a few issues after steeking (see third photo) but I think that was my misunderstanding of the “pick up and knit” instructions. A bit of crochet ingenuity (second photo) saved it.

All in all a pretty easy pattern and the owls are super cute! I plan to make another, larger one for the future MIL!
