I was inspired by the Mason Dixon log cabin blankets to make a baby blanket for a colleague’s baby. It was the first major project I’d tried and in hindsight not a good choice for a summer holiday in rural NSW … 40 degree temperatures were not fun, especially when draped in wool.

The colours weren’t traditional baby blanket choices but they reminded me of old toys, like vintage train sets and model cars.
