This is my recipe for this pattern:

Stockinette up to 81sts, then start the Stockinette version chart. I repeated chart 1 once. I worked charts 2-5 only once.

Of course, I added beads, but not as many as I first thought I would.

Chart 4: added 8/0 beads to each leaf tip
Chart 5: added 6/0 beads to each leaf tip in row 79
Added 8/0 beads to each leaf tip in row 81

Bind Off: added 1 6/0 bead to each drip (if I had them in my stash, I would have used 3/0 here instead, but the 6/0 are ok.)

I did try the knitted version of BO and still have trouble with it (its my backwards knitting, not the pattern that presents the problem!) so I opted to do the crochet BO method instead. And I tweaked that just a tiny bit this is what I did:

Chained and beaded as described in pattern. But before I started the new drip each time, I worked three sts into 1 like this-- knit across the (yo, k, yo), passed these 3 sts back, slip 2 sts together kw, knit next st one more time, passed two sl sts over, then with the crochet hook I slip stitched that last knitted st with the previous crochet slip stitch. After I made my drip, and slip stitched back down, my final slip st was into the back post only of the two together at the knitted tip. (This kept the drip centered over the bead.)
