Seems to be a cross between Batwing and modified Faroese shaping…

Once stretched out, this is very much a crescent shape-- but leaves a lot of room for interpretation when pinning. I like a shallow crescent, so this is how I shaped it, but it could have easily been pinned to more of a Faroese shape.

My method--4 passes

1.) Pin out the seed stitch points to the basic shape I wanted.

2.) Then start center bottom and go along each side to pin out the single leaf points. Once those are placed along BOTH sides of the shawl (my mistake to not do this)…

3.) Go back around pinning the 3 leaf column points. This may displace the seed stitch pins-- mine did. So I took out the seed stitch pins as I went through this round.

4.) Pin out the tiny purple points in between each already pinned point. (THIS WILL NOT LOOK THE SAME AS MINE IF YOU CHOOSE TO BO DIFFERENTLY.)
