Nasty old Sayelle orlon acrylic from the thrift store… but it is the WOWest hot pink color variegated with white and light pink. DD loves it. :) Original sticker on the band is $.69 a skein! :)

My yarn band doesn’t give any yardage.

12/20/12 Finished the pieces for this early this morning. Picked up and worked ribbing around one armscye, don’t think I will have enough yarn. I might take that back out and do the finishing with white. Haven’t decided yet.

12/22/12 Finished the knitting this morning!! I did take that ribbing out… redid it in white… and it was too glaring white… took that out and redid it in a creamier white… that’s too creamy, but I’m leaving it!! No one else will notice too much, I hope. It’s better than the spanking white, anyway. Also tried 4x4 rib along the bottom edge on the back only. Yuck! Took that back out after it was done. Argh.

All I have left is the buttons, weaving in ends and pics!

Crochet st pat is the same as the Perdido Baby Blanket.

Crocheted with H hook.
Ribbings picked up with size G hook and knit 2x2 rib on size 7 needles.

Dd#2 loves old metal buttons. She calls them ‘button money’. So she got to pick out her very own button money from Mom’s jar for this vest. :)
