This is the ‘large’ version of Thistle Down Wrap. I wanted to do something different with it and so that’s why the color contrast and the wooden beads.

I get bored doing the same thing over and over….. so it has to be changed up and look different!

This one was fun to make. I think this is my favorite completely for shape and color.

I beaded the thistles but not the border on this because the dark beads would have been lost in the dark brown. but light colored beads were just a bit ‘much’. So, to tie the color together I added a row of sc across the bottom which gives it just the right look.

I love the look of folksy browns but delicate lace.

This is the “large” version of the shawl. The pattern comes with a small and a large size in the instructions.
