i made two blankets. one in green/purple/cream and one in green/pumpkin/cream.

i love the pattern, and it inspired me to try tunisian crochet, but it involves twisting each stitch and i didn’t have the time to do that extra bit of work.

so i cast on the number it called for, and switched colors when i felt like it. i like asymmetry and that is reflected in my striping design choice.

it is a lovely yarn and a nice stitch, which has turned out a plush blanket that is pretty on the right and wrong sides.

i did a single crochet around the edges.

had to block it, as it wanted to curl in at the short ends (along the grain).

i used a tunisian crochet hook with the cord on the end. using a long straight tunisian crochet hook with this many stitches was very uncomfortable and heavy.
