Love the pattern, love the moose. I probably should have attached his hind legs higher on the body, so that he doesn’t tip forward. It could probably also use a little counterweight in the rump.

I decided to use the Vanna’s tweed yarn, because I wanted him to have a woodsy feel. I definitely love the way the tweedy bits showed in the pattern.

I mostly improvised the hat and scarf, because I wanted to use thread instead of a thicker yarn and keep the illusion of scale.

It’s labor-intensive with lots of construction (as with any ami figure), but well worth it!
