So my niece is now getting to the age where she wants some fun pampering spa-type stuff, so I’m making her a pretty snowflake set for Christmas.

Part 1 was the washcloths, which turned out beautifully, I think! I decided to do a set of 4 in different colors - blue, purple, red, and green. I was very impressed with how the pattern showed off the colors, and I think she will be very pleased with them :)

The pattern itself is beautiful, and while I hate weaving in ends, it’s well worth it, as the colors really pop! I set the difficulty at medium, only because of the petal loop stitch. There is a great stitch explanation (including photos) at the beginning of the pattern, and once you actually do a couple it’s smooth sailing, but for beginners, it might be tricky to attempt.

I am very seriously contemplating making myself an afghan out of these… hrm…
