Blogged about it here
Pattern:
Wonderful! All instructions are clear and the cardi is constructed very cleverly. After a few repeats it could be knitted while watching TV.
Yarn:
Still loving the Drops loves you #3! Admittedly it’s not the best choice for this pattern since the thick/thin strucure doesn’t show cables very well. But it’s still wonderfully soft and lightweight and has gorgeous colour variations.
Notes:
I am enjoying the tv series Revenge while knitting this beautiful cardigan. Its skyblue colours would fit great into the Hamptons scenery :)
My gauge is way off so I am knitting one size larger to accommodate for this.
I’m using the same needle size for the back piece, circular piece and the sleeves.

Like many others I used Shadystroll’s way of grafting, which took me almost 2 hours omg
The result was worth the work though!
Started the sleeves by picking up 60 stitches

Because of my different row gauge I am decreasing every 9th round

Knitted stockinette for 110 rounds.

First sleeve done! For the cuff I did 30 rows of garter stitch (knitted back and forth, starting on a wrong side row). Bound off by kntting two stitches together tbl.

Finished at 1 a.m. :D
The second sleeve has some serious colour pooling, but I like the look of it :)
Ends are all sewn in, it still needs to be washed and blocked.
