Notes

This project hibernated for a very long time because I ran out of my initial batch of Robin’s Egg, and the final skein I ordered was much, much bluer. So I actually frogged the first sleeve and knit it again, all in the one mismatched skein. Hopefully it’s not too obvious!

I also for some reason just didn’t really enjoy knitting this. I absolutely adore the yarn, so it wasn’t that, and I usually love stranded colorwork and dots and stripes as well.

This is a much boxier look than I usually go for. But it’s very cozy and will probably make an excellent outdoor chore sweater.

Total knit time: approximately 28 hours

Model measurements: 36-28-38

Mods:

  • knit body an extra inch before dividing for front and back; I think I would’ve liked one more inch yet!
  • knit arm scye for only 6.5”
  • followed the sleeve instructions for two sizes down (35 3/4)
  • did my own thing with patterning for sleeves
