Test knit for Dee. This is a wonderful pattern. Very easy to follow and gorgeous design. Knit up surprisingly fast too, given that’s it’s fingering weight.

Modeled with approximately 2 inches of negative ease. Slight tonal variation of yarn makes this somewhat tough to photograph, as it appears different colors in different lights. Images 3, 5, and 7 show the most accurate color under natural light.

Mods (designer approved):
Note that I made these mods to draft pattern--final pattern may have different measurements. Also note that these mods were in part because my row gauge was ever so slightly off.

• knit an extra 1.5 inches before bust colorwork so it would hit at right spot (4” from underarm).
• knit an extra 2 inches on each sleeve (I have monkey arms) for total length of 18” from underarm.
• extra length to dress--total length from underarm is 31.5” (for reference I am 5’3”).

Yarn
Heaven. The amount of raving this brand gets is sooooo justified. I’ve never seen yarn with such excellent drape. And even though the logwood color had significant crocking (especially my first skein), it did not bleed AT ALL during blocking. The finished garment is light and airy, yet also very warm. And the colors are just gorgeous, with ever so slight tonal variations that add interest but not pooling. I will definitely buy more of this yarn!
