Notes

I’m in love with this little dress, and I would make it again if I had a little girl of my own. The original pattern only calls for one color but it’s very easy to adapt to two.

The only thing I would do differently is the picot edge. I would have gone the opposite way that the pattern called for along the neckline so that I wasn’t binding off on the wrong side. As the case was I was forced to do this so that when I changed colors the purl stitch wasn’t showing on the right side.

The purse that goes along with the pattern was a breeze to make, and I will have a picture up asap. It went together in two days, and is absolutely adorable. I replaced the use of ribbon by braiding the two colored yarns together.
