Notes

I used Rauma finull wich has a yardage of 175 m/50 g. For a size 4 jumper, the pattern requires 9 balls of MC of Jamieson & Smith 2 Ply. This gives a total length of 1062 meters. I used slightly more than 6 balls (305 g) of Rauma finull for MC, total 1065 meters.

I knitted the body and sleeves a few cm longer than my size so this gives the extra meters used. If I had stuck to the pattern lengthwise, I would have used less than 6 balls of Rauma finull.

Colours I used:

MC: 401 Sheep black
CC1: 483 Blue
CC2: 419 Rust
CC3: 461 Orange
CC4: 460 Orange
CC5: 4986 Pale yellow
CC6: 401 Undyed

I would prefer more of a difference between the to orange colours, but that was impossible to get without changing to a very bright orange that did not fit with the colour palette.

Weaving in ends took forever. But the finished jumper is so worth the work.

It is crucial to knit a test swatch to be sure tension is correct before starting the project. The extra time spent is worth it if the alternative is redoing the jumper with different needles or in a different size.

Knitting this in Rauma finullgarn. It has a slightly different tension than the original yarn, Jamieson & Smith 2 ply jumper weight. On needles 3.0 mm I get the tension required for this jumper.
