False start on Friday. My gauge with 3.5 mm matches for rows but not for stitches.
Saturday night: selected hook size 3 mm. Gauge matches for stitches but not for rows. Sigh…
Ok, let’s go for 3 mm.
On Sunday morning, back and front sides done to underarm.

Great pattern and clear explanations (though in UK terminology, which is not the one I’m used to, but again the switch is easy and reminded on front page of the pattern, so nothing to worry about at all).

I should have made the top part before joining at underarms a little longer. My gauge is not exactly the same as in pattern. But I count on

  • the weight of the project to drag down the top part
  • blocking
