I started this blanket in response to Friends of Pine Ridge Reservation’s emergency donation drive for foster babies. I did not use traditional baby colors, and I tried to make is masculine. I hope the person who gets it likes it and it keeps the baby nice and warm.

I came up with my own hole-less granny design. The only holes are at the corners, which I made by working 2 dc in the corner, chain 2, and 2 more dc in the same corner space.

The last round was single crochet, and I did 4 sc in each corner space without doing the chain 2 so it made the edge more firm.

It measures around 33 or so inches square, and it looks a lot bigger than baby blankets you can buy anymore.
